GIBSON, Ga. - Mr. Jake S. Landrum, 85, loving husband of the late Mrs. Christine Chalker Landrum, entered into rest Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at MCG, Augusta.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery, Gibson, with Pastor Adrian Burrall officiating.
Mr. Jake was a native of Glascock County and lived here all his life. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Aiken, S.C. and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by two sons, Wayne Landrum and his wife, Carol of Gibson and Denny Landrum and his wife, Linda of Spartanburg, S.C.; one daughter, Donna Pearson of Gibson; one sister, Ethel Davis of Thomson; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Sheppard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
