Mrs. Susan Henderson Poss of Spartanburg, S.C., and Mr. Gerald Callaway Poss, Jr. of Columbia, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Katherine Henderson Poss of Bluffton, S.C., to Mr. Matthew Kaynor Albert of Baltimore, Md., the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Charles Albert of Savannah.
The wedding will be held May 6, 2006, beginning at 6 p.m. in the evening at the Furman University Chapel in Greenville, S.C.
Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at The Greenville Country Club. After the wedding, the couple will make their home in Baltimore, Md.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Herbert Guy Henderson and the late Mr. Herbert Guy Henderson of Mauldin, S.C., and Mrs. Gerald Callaway Poss and the late Mr. Gerald Callaway Poss, Sr. of Thomson.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Smith Kaynor of Savannah, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Augustine Albert of Jacksonville, Fla.
The future bride is a graduate of Spartanburg High School and Furman University. She is employed at Advertising by Design as an Account Executive.
The future groom is a graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School and Furman University. He is employed at Brasseler USA as the Mid-Atlantic Sales Specialist.
