RIDGE SPRING, S.C. - Services for Ms. Doris Rhoden Fulmer, 87, were conducted at noon at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Yoho officiating. Burial were follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund, 164 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Ridge Spring, SC 29129.
Mrs. Fulmer died Thursday, December 22, 2005.
Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late George D. and Minnie Franklin Rhoden, was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, Wade Hampton (Brenda) Fulmer of Lexington, S.C., Larry Bethea (Sherry) Fulmer of Dearing, Ga.; daughters, Betty (O'Dell) Morris of West Columbia, S.C., Sara (Maxie) Rutland of North Augusta; sisters, Peggy Bryan ofEdgefield, Dale Rhoden of North Augusta, Patsy McCutcheon of Greenwood, S.C., Hattie Rhoden of Fla.; grandchildren, Anthony, Neal and Jason Fulmer, Michelle Saxon, Rodney Rutland, Sara Anne Ratcliffe, Michael, Jeffrey and Susan Morris; 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Hampton Bethea Fulmer, and a daughter, Grace Ellen Fulmer. Special thanks to NHC-Lexington and to Lexington Gardens.
