Mr. James Coy Gilliam, Sr. WARRENTON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. James Coy Gilliam, Sr., were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the Sandy Grove A.M.E. Church, Warrenton, with Pastor LeVerne Comer officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Survivors are his mother, Catherine Gilliam Cosby, Warrenton; father, C.L. Gilliam, Washington, D.C.; wife, Juanita Gilliam, Augusta; two daughters, Carla Gibson and Yvonne Harris, Augusta; one son, James Coy (Shantonya) Gilliam, Jr. Brooklyn, N.Y.; six sisters, Janet (Rickey) Jackson, Carol Cosby and Christine Cosby, Warrenton, Alice Cosby, Jonesboro, Ga., Marilyn Bly, Harlem, and Fay Cosby, Thomson; seven brothers, Carl, Curtis and Calvin, Warrenton, Mack, Jr. (Flora) Cosby, Fort Valley, Ga., Donald Cosby, Portland, Ore., Marvin Cosby, Seattle, Wash. and Willie Richard Gilliam, Atlanta and seven grandchildren.
