Mr. E. Frank Peeler
Retired construction worker

LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. E. Frank Peeler, 80, died Friday, December 23, at Westlake Manor, Augusta. Graveside services were held Saturday, December 24, at 3 p.m. at Double Branches Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Keith Etheridge officiating.

Mr. Peeler, a native of Lincoln County, was the son of the late Osto and Maggie Hastings Peeler. He had lived in Lincoln County all of his life and was a member of Double Branches Baptist Church.

Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, Mr. Peeler served in the U.S. Naval Reserves and assisted in the reconstruction of that military installation.

Survivors include his wife; Mary Marzee Jackson Peeler; son, James Peeler, and wife, Patsy, Carollton, Ga.; daughter, Judy Peeler, Evans; brother, William (Bill) Peeler, Morganton, N.C.; sisters, Lounette Reese, Lincolnton, Sara Jane Goldman, Thomson; grandson, Patrick Peeler and wife, Tina; great- grandson, Blake Peeler.

Memorials may be made to Double Branches Baptist Cemetery Fund or Alzheimers Association.
