DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Adelaide Therese Richard, 91, wife of the late Thomas Richard, entered into rest Monday, December 1, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. Richard was born in Washington, D.C., and was a retired business owner. She was a member of the Woodman of the World, Elks, and the Veteran of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include four daughters, Carol Madden, Grovetown, Margaret Burnside (Richard), Hilton Head, S.C., Stephanie Patterson (Buddy), Dearing, and Cheryl McFerrin (David), Dallas, Ga.; one daughter-in-law, Mayona Austin, Dearing; seven grandsons, six granddaughters; 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Frances Kennemore, Fountaintown, Ind., Dorothy Wingard (Richard), Annapolis, Md., and Marie McKay (Eddie), Sleutenville, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, John Austin; two sisters and six brothers.
