THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Curtis "Babe" Sturgis, age 51, Thomson, were held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Springfield Baptist Church, Thomson at 11 a.m. with the Rev. F.D. Favors officiating.
Interment was held in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include six sisters, Evelyn Sturgis, Thomson, Marie (Willie) Casey, Clarksville, Tenn., Eva Jones, Waynesville, Mo., Betty Wiggins, Albany, Cora Jackson, Thomson, Desiree (Rickey) Fuquay, Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, James Sturgis, Jr., Thomson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
