THOMSON, Ga. -- Mrs. Mary B. Young, 84, widow of Mr. Harold C. Young, died Monday, December 8, 2008, in The Place At Martinez.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Garvin officiating. Burial was in the Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Young was a native of Anniston, Ala., but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was retired from the Thomson Company and was a member of the Sweetwater Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Tappy Montgomery, Augusta; her son, Mr. Harold E. "Skip" Young, Peachtree City, Ga.; four grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
