An 8 and Under United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) baseball team is being formed in Thomson.
An organizational meeting for both players and parents will be held at Sweetwater Park in Thomson on Jan. 31 at 3:30 p.m.
"We are looking for players and parents who are committed to the team," says Coach Mac Frails.
The season will run from February until July with the team participating in a total of 10 tournaments.
Practices will be held in Thomson on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays starting in mid February.
All tournament games will be played in Aiken, S.C.
