WARRENTON, Ga. - Mrs. Gladys Ivey, 65, of Warrenton, died Thursday, January 8, 2009.
Funeral service was held on Sunday, January 11, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the New Salem Baptist Church with Minister Steve Ivey officiating. Interment: church cemetery.
Survivors include a devoted friend, Mr. Benny L. Moss of Warrenton; five children, Anthony (Bertha) Ivey, Lakecia (Billy Joe) Ivey, Denise (William) Ivey all of Warrenton, Alton (Sara) L. Ivey, Jr., Seattle, Wash., and Gary D. Ivey of Morgan County, Ga.; loving sister, Carrie Reid; devoted brother, Willie Major, Jr.; and three loving best friends, Mozelle Ivey, Jakie Hall and Pauline Brown all of Warrenton; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Haynes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
