On January 20, 2009, Barack Obama made history and became the first African-American President. I think this day means that more people will begin to come together instead of being divided by race.
To me, this day means the color of your skin does not limit the level of your success. Life is what YOU make of it.
It's not the color of President Obama's skin that people should be celebrating. We should celebrate instead the fact that it has been proven that he has what it takes to lead the world. President Obama represents hope, vision, and unity to many in our nation. Hopefully he can deliver.
