THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Josephine Baker Edmunds, 92, of Thomson, entered into rest January 31, 2009. at Piedmont-Fayette Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Herman Edmunds.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, February 2, 2009, at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Dr. James M. Ramsey officiating.
Mrs. Edmunds was born in Rockingham County, Va., and was the daughter of the late Thomas Whitfield Baker and the late Frances Miller Baker. She was a homemaker and a member First Baptist Church in Thomson.
Survivors include her nieces: Jayne Cobb, Riverdale, Ga., Melinda Manders, McDonough, Ga., Melissa Hickey, Jackson, Ga., and Donna Hudson, Ann Treadwell, Linda Land and Brenda Neal, all of Thomson.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
