THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Ms. Minnie Jackson, 57, Thomson was held on Thursday, February 12, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Aldred C.M.E. Church, Warrenton, with the Rev. Willie J. Wiley officiating and the Rev. J.H. Bush serving as eulogist. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Sonya (Phillip) Williams, Thomson; son, Carlos J. Ramsey, Atlanta; special grandson and granddaughter that she raised, Jerrell McNair and Shantel McNair both of Thomson; two grandsons, Phillip Williams, and Donovan Williams both of Thomson; three brothers, Willie L. Jackson, Decatur, Johnnie (Sherise) Hatcher, Jr. Charlotte, N.C., Gregory (Debora) Hatcher, Concord, Calif.; four sisters, Connie Hatcher, Catherine Watts, Sandra Hatcher, all of Philadelphia, Pa., Cherise Muhammad, Pennsauken, N.Y.; stepmother, Katie Sanders, Philadelphia, Pa.; four aunts, two great aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
