The Dearing Dream Team held a Bingo Night on Feb. 7 and rose more than $1,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society. I would like to say a big "Thank You" to the following for donating prizes for our event: American Ramp Transit, Amigo's Mexican Restaurant, Angie's Steakhouse & Seafood, Axon's Mini Mart, Belle Meade Country Club, Brummett Consulting/Kim Brummett, Corenda Brummett/Beauty Control Consultant, California Dreaming, Chile Peppers, Cornerstone Bakery & Deli, Cracker Barrel, James Auto Electric, McCorkle Nurseries, Outback Steakhouse, Pizza Hut, Ryan's Steakhouse, Stephens Jewelry & Gifts, The Upper Cut/David Pierce, Thomson IGA, Leona Axon, Maggie Biernatzki, Walter McGahee, Linda Patchin, Rhiannon Rayburn, and Kenneth Welch.
Thanks also to the McDuffie County Leisure Services for use of their bingo equipment and to Mr. Bill Vinson for calling for us. I would also like to thank Dearing Elementary for allowing us to use their facilities. Lastly, I would like to thank the members of The Dearing Dream Team who worked very hard to make this event a success and to the people who attended.
