HARLEM, Ga. - Mrs. Patricia Cash Moore, 68, wife of Mr. William Frank Moore, entered into rest on Monday, February 16, 2009.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2009, at Powell Baptist Church with the Revs. Randall Whitaker and Charlie DeLoach officiating. Interment was in Harlem Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore was born in Chattanooga, Tenn., to the late Robert J. Cash and Francis E. Gulley Cash and was a retired beautician. She was a charter member of the Columbia County Historical Society and was a civic volunteer with the PTA and Cub Scouts. Mrs. Moore was a board member of Columbia Arts and Monument Committee. She was an artist and enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her husband, William Frank Moore, Sr.; two sons, Robert Bruce Moore and Scott Patrick Moore, both of Harlem; one brother, Robert J. Cash, II, Augusta; one sister, Christine Cheryl Eschelbach (Garry), Thomson; two granddaughters, Savannah DiAnn Moore and Destiny Rose Moore; and two aunts, Ruth Gillen, Florida and Catherine Turner, Tennessee; and three dear friends, Julia Prather, Sylvia Whitaker, and Pat Kelley; She was preceded in death by a son, William Frank Moore, Jr.
Pallbearers were Larry Moore, Benji Moore, Matt Eschelbach, Clint Underwood, Louis Whitaker and Mike Garrett.
