AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Debra A. Lobdell Moss, 47, of Augusta, were held on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at 1:30 p.m., at Vanderhorst C.M.E. Church, Thomson, with the Rev. John Smalley and Rev. Andrew Grant presiding. Interment was in Westview Cemetery in Thomson.
Survivors include devoted husband, Johnny Moss, Augusta; son, John T. Mudd of Peoria, Ill.; two daughters, Jaquana L. Lobdell and Nakisha N. Mudd, both of Thomson; niece, Jamiya Hightower; nephew, whom she raised as her own, James Hightower; three God-daughters, Danita Wheeler and Mercedes Burke, both of Peoria, Ill., Lakita Sinkfield of Thomson; and a stepson, Dontavious Taylor of Thomson; parents, James (Ethel) Lobdell, Peoria, Ill.; six brothers, James Lobdell of Toledo, Ohio, Ricky (Jon) Lobdell of Danville, Ill., James (Joanne) Lobdell of Atlanta, Anthony (Twila) Lobdell, Lincolnton; Mr. Kwame Lobdell & Tyrell Lobdell both of Peoria, Ill.; two sisters, Sherry Lobdell, Peoria, Ill., and Carolyn Luke, Thomson; seven grandchildren; four nieces; four nephews; four great nieces; and one great nephew, all of Thomson; mother-in-law, Eula Moss; brother-in-law, Homer Moss; three sisters-in-law, Rosa Jeffery, Shirley (W.C.) Frails, Daisy (Leonard) Neal, all of Thomson; five aunts, Betty Singleton, Eunice Compton, Charlene William, Mary Singleton and Helen Singleton, all of Peoria, Ill.; three uncles, Felix Lobdell, William Lobdell, both of Peoria, Ill., and Willie Lee Lobdell, Maywood, Ill.; three special friends, Pearlie Lowe Jones, Willa Mae Leverette, both of Thomson, Navita Mudd Houston, Peoria, Ill.; and a host of relatives and friends.
