THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Betty McCorkle, 74, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in the Thomson Manor Nursing Facility.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2009, in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kenneth Garvin officiating.
Mrs. McCorkle was a native of Warren County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.
Survivors include her two sons, Roy McCorkle, Dearing and Ricky McCorkle, Thomson; her three sisters, Louise Harris and Tholene McTier, both of Thomson and Annie Raburn, Dearing; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
