NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Ms. Joy Marie Lemay, 46, entered into rest March 15, 2009, in Grandview, Tex.
Ms. Lemay, a native of North Augusta, attended North Augusta High School. She was a Baptist and also attended East Tennessee University.
She is survived by her parents, James L. and Linda A. Johnson, N. Augusta, S.C.; one son, Charles Edward Hensley, Elizabethton, Tenn.; two daughters, Jamie Marie Beal, Knoxville, Tenn., Joy Danielle Kissel, Johnson City, Tenn.; one brother, James T. Lemay (Shannon) Grovetown, Ga.; two sisters, Ann Ashe Morgan (Bud), N. Augusta, S.C., Paula Rae Frost, (Randy) Thomson; and four grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was one brother, Jimmy Johnson.
Memorial services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at McNeill Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating.
McNeill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
