TUCKER, Ga. - Mr. David Joseph Chambers, 53, husband of Mrs. Shelia Francine Grady Chambers, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 21, 2009. Private family services were held with full military honors.
Mr. Chambers was born on January 2, 1956, in Enterprise, Ala., and was retired from the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. He was his mother's 22nd birthday son. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
Survivors include his wife Shelia G. Chambers; his parents, William M. Chambers and Betty Fostine Herrington Chambers; two daughters, Casey Dee Strawder (Cedric, Jr.), California, and Amanda Chambers (Daryl), North Carolina; step-daughter, Ayanna Grady, Alpharetta; four brothers, Michael Chambers (Lisa), Clarks Hill, Tommy Chambers, Dearing, Johnny Chambers (Michelle), North Augusta, and Billy Chambers, Jr. (Barbara), of Savannah; two sisters, Sharon Mitchell (Cedric), Atlanta, and Lisa Huggins (Bill), Augusta; and three grandchildren, ReShawn Strawder, Breauna Lyn Strawder and Elijah Dakoto Chambers.
Starling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
