THOMSON, Ga. -- Mr. Edward M. Blanko, Jr., 47, beloved son of Mr. Edward M. Blanko, Sr., and Mrs. Dorothy Blanko, of Thomson, died, Friday, April 3, 2009, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Blanko was a native Derby, Conn., but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was Catholic by faith. Eddie liked to play golf, ride motorcycles, and fix things.
In addition to his parents, survivors also include his two sisters, Karen Callaway, Grovetown; Ellen Penland, Marietta; a nephew, Ryan Callaway, three nieces, Tammy Shelton, Leah Penland, and Lauren VanDewater, and a grandniece, Reagan Shelton.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
