WASHINGTON, Ga. -- Mrs. Lucile Eula Bonner Franklin, 84, died at Thomson Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Franklin was a native of Oglethorpe County, and lived in Wilkes County most of her life. She was a retired switchboard operator, and was the daughter of John Bonner and Eula Slay Bonner.
Graveside services were held Sunday, April 5, 2009, at 2 p.m., at Rock United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry (Dianne) Compton of Washington, and Jimmy Compton of Washington; two granddaughters, Dede (Al) Broome, and Jacey (Mike) Coke; and one great granddaughter, Loganne Bradshaw.
