SPARTA, Ga. - Mr. Donnie V. Grier, 60, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in Sparta.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two children, Terry Brown, Sr. of Atlanta, and Victoria Grier of Thomson; two grandchildren, Terry Brown, Jr., and Shateria Beard, both of Atlanta; five brothers, Frank (Evelyn) M. Grier, Jr. of Augusta, Andrew (Adriane) Grier of Macon, James C. Williams, Darren Grier, and Glenn Grier, all of Sparta; five sisters, Dionia (Marcus) Culver of Milledgeville, Gail Anderson, Jeannette Smith, and Patricia (Kenneth) Primus, all of Sparta, and Stephanie (James) Johnson of Mableton, Ga.; one uncle, Clayton Lee of Warrenton.; three aunts, Mary Ranger of Atlanta, Nevada Moss of Milledgeville, and Carrie Grier of Warrenton.
Services were held Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with burial in church cemetery with Rev. Charlie Butts officiating.
Ingram Brothers Funeral Home, Inc., was in charge of arrangements.
