The Thomson Rotary Club and its President Foster Wylie recently recognized Cullen Wallace as the recipient of its 2009 Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA).
Cullen is a rising junior at Thomson High School. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Wallace of Thomson.
This recognition is for outstanding young people with proven leadership skills or potential. This leadership training program is sponsored by Rotary International.
Cullen will join approximately 100 other outstanding young people from Georgia Rotary District 6910 for four, all-expense paid, days of fun and challenging activities to promote leadership and team building. This year's conference will be held at Tallulah Falls School in Tallulah Falls, Ga.
