THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Belton, Sr., were held Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Thankful Baptist Church in Glascock County, with Rev. Charles Belton serving as Eulogist. Interment followed at the William Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include seven daughters, Brenda (Chris) Stovall, Pam Belton, Sherry Belton, all of Atlanta, Pamela (Amos) McNair, Jeanette (James) Lowe, Glenyss Brinson and Melissa Brinson, all of Thomson; five sons, Bobby (Melinda) Wallace of Warrenton, Ricky (Susan) Wallace, Brian Belton, Robert Belton, Jr., all of Thomson and Patrick Belton of Atlanta; two sisters, Barbara Hart of Thomson and Louise Jones of Ohio; three brothers, Johnny Belton and Cornelius Belton, both of Thomson and Tommy Belton of Augusta; special cousin, Leroy Stokes; 38 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
D.T. Brown Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
