Homecoming celebration at Wrightsboro

An estimated 100 people converged at the historical Wrightsboro Methodist Church near Thomson to commemorate homecoming festivities. The area off Old Wrightsboro Road was founded by the Quakers back in the 1700s. Several guests spoke about the area's rich history and later toured a number of landmarks, including an old cemetery and Rock Dam. A brief history lesson was given by Epp Wilson and others.
