THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Kevin Stevenson, 19, beloved son of Mr. Tony Stevenson and the late Quinnette Stevenson, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in Orlando, Fla.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2009, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Leonard Dupree officiating. Burial was in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Kevin was a native of Richmond County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a graduate of Youth Challenge 2007 at Fort Stewart, where he earned a scholarship to the Motorcycle Mechanic Institute in Orlando. He was preceded in death by his mother, Quinnette Yates Stevenson.
He is survived by his father, Tony Stevenson, Thomson; two brothers, John Paul Stevenson, Augusta; Joshua Stevenson, Thomson; a sister, Grace Stevenson, Martinez; a step-brother, Matthew Milburn, Thomson; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Ethel Yates, Alabama; a niece, Hailey Meyer.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
