The 20th anniversary class of Leadership McDuffie recently spent a busy weekend serving McDuffie County.
During Mayfest in Dearing on May 2, Leadership McDuffie participants PJ Alderman, Hazel Battle, Percival Galloway, Hope Rogers, Sheron Rutkowski, Lynda Stewart and Pam Yates spent the day distributing a resources guide to community members, according to Irish Alderman, the 2009 Co-Chair of he Leadership McDuffie Board.
Also on May 2, Leadership McDuffie participants Tony Amerson, Donna Branch, Sherrika Brown, Robert Hall, Tim McEnery, Angie Roberts and Miriam Smith built a pergola at the Pitts Street Park.
