Greenwald to wed Pirkle in July

Michael and Angeline Greenwald of Augusta, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Natalie Marisa Greenwald, to Philip Bradley Pirkle, Jr., son of Philip and Sharon Pirkle of Thomson. The wedding is planned for 1 p.m., July 11, 2009, at The Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Augusta.

Natalie is the granddaughter of Raymond and Naomi Greenwald of Citrus Springs, Fla., and the late Nick and Mary Accaria. She is a 2002 graduate of Westside High School. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in music in 2006 and a master of arts degree in teaching in 2008 from Augusta State University. Natalie is a music teacher in the Richmond County School System.

Bradley is the grandson of Lee and Ruby Pirkle and the late Aubrey and Kiyoko Thomas, all of Waycross, Ga. He is a 1997 graduate of Thomson High School. He earned a bachelor of music education from Valdosta State University in 2001 and a master of music education from the University of Georgia in 2007. Bradley is employed by the McDuffie County School System as band director of Thomson Middle School and Thomson-McDuffie Junior High School.
