WARRENTON, Ga. - Funeral services for Ms. Adelaide Burnett were held Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Warrenton, Ga. Interment was in the Brisco Cemetery.
Survivors: her beloved mother, Ms. Ruby Brooks, Warrenton; five daughters, Diane Blue, Sparta, Ga., Renea Wilder, Garry Evans, Angie Dawson, Warrenton, Phyllis Sheppard, Thomson; four sons, Ira Burnett, Durrane Britt, Kim Roberts, Warrenton, Darryl Roberts, Augusta; two brothers, Rep. Tyrone Brooks, Atlanta, Jerome Brooks, Pembroke Pines, Fla.; one sister, Brenda B. Johnson, Warrenton; 23 grandchildren; 29 great- grandchildren; and a host of great- great-grandchildren.
