SOPERTON, Ga. - Mrs. Annie Julia (Ricks) Wilson, 87, of Soperton, Ga., died Tuesday, May 19, 2009.
She was a native of Johnson County, Ga.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 22, 2009, at 2 p.m. at First Church of God In Christ, 1227 Canady Avenue in Soperton, Ga. Elder Ella Mae Samuels presided as eulogist. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Soperton, Ga.
She is survived by four sons, Hubert Ricks, Adrian, Ga., Herman Ricks, Shafter, Calif., Woodrow Ricks, Higgston, Ga., and Willie Ricks, Swainsboro, Ga.; three daughters, Presiding Elder Ella Mae Samuels, Thomson, Lena Mae Williams, Soperton, Ga., and Evaline Walton, Vidalia, Ga.; 39 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
