APPLING, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Bessie McKnight, of Appling, will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Canaan of Galilee Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Felton officiating. Interment was in Second Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Bridget McKnight, Florida; two sisters, Denolies Luke, Boston, Mass., and Nettie (Ernest) Hill, Appling; three brothers, William Jones and Charlie Jones both of Appling and Herbert Jones, Augusta; three grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System is in charge of arrangements.
