Ruehle weds Poston in ceremony at First Baptist Church in Thomson

Megan Wynelle Ruehle and Cleveland Reddick Poston were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2009, at First Baptist Church in Thomson. Dr. Stewart M. Moody of Statesboro, Ga., Dr. James C. Elder of Columbus, Ga., and Dr. James M. Ramsey of Thomson officiated.

Megan is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David Lawrence Ruehle of Thomson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Alonzo Taylor of Crawfordville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald James Ruehle of Atlanta. She is a 2003 graduate of Thomson High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor of science in family and consumer sciences with a concentration in furnishings and interiors. She is employed by Yancey Seibert Interior Design, Ltd.

Cleve is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Cully Poston of Thomson. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cleveland Reddick of Fort Valley, Ga., and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Clifford Poston of Thomson. He is a 2003 graduate of Thomson High School and a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor of science in construction management. He is employed by Two State Construction Company as a project manager.

Given in marriage by her father, Megan chose her cousin, Miss Angela Marie Taylor of Watkinsville, Ga. to serve as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Bonnie Kathlena Chappell of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Miss India Elizabeth Goodyear of Moorseville, N.C., Miss Hanna Morgan Poston of Thomson, sister of the groom, Miss Bridgett Elise Powers of Thomson, Miss Kelli Anne Stoel of Newnan, Ga., and Mrs. Quenswella Walker Taylor of Thomson, and Miss Mallory Brooke Whaley of Knoxville, Tenn., all friends of the bride. Junior Bridesmaids were Miss Martha Kate Jenkins and Miss Sibyl Ruth Poston, both of Thomson, cousins of the groom. Flower girl was Miss Mary Tinsley Jenkins of Thomson, cousin of the groom.

Cleve chose his father to serve as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Jay Bryan Arnett of Appling, Mr. Mark Stanley Jenkins of Thomson, cousin of the groom, Mr. Michael Bennett Dudley of Augusta, Mr. Joshua Preston Holland of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. Clifford Cully Poston of Thomson, brother of the groom, Mr. Justin Neil Reid of Monroe, Ga., and Mr. Stewart Taylor Ruehle of Thomson, brother of the bride, all friends of the groom. Junior Groomsmen was Drury Thomas Poston of Thomson, cousin of the groom. Ring Bearer was Lansing James Jenkins of Thomson, cousin of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Belle Meade Country Club in Thomson. The newlyweds honeymooned in Saint Lucia. The couple will reside in Thomson.
