Ms. Mamie D. "Betty" Bryant

THOMSON, Ga. - Ms. Mamie D. "Betty" Bryant of Thomson Manor Nursing Home entered into rest Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Heartland Hospice Hospital.

Graveside services were held at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Don Widener officiating.

Ms. Bryant, a native of Glascock County, was preceded in death by her father, Arthur E. Bryant, and mother, Daisy Mae Vickery, a brother, Arthur O. "Bud" Bryant, and a sister, Ellen Way.

She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include her three half-brothers, Charles Roy Land, Thomson, Bill Land, Social Circle, and Gene Land, Washington; a nephew, Warren Keith Bryant, Martinez; a niece, Angela K. Bryant, Evans, and several other nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery Fund c/o Kay Langham, 681 Mt. Beulah Church Rd., Warrenton, Ga. 30828.

Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
