THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Jean R. Murray, widow of Mr. John Murray, died Saturday, June 13, in the University Hospital.
Our beloved Momma (Nanny) Jean R. Murray went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was a life long resident of Thomson, and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John R. Murray.
She is survived by her son, Travis James Murray (Louise), and two grandsons, Mikal Justin Murray and Steven Joseph Murray, all of North Augusta S.C.
She will be greatly missed, and will live in our hearts forever. Jean enjoyed working and loved her position at Maxwell Elementary in the Special Education Department.
At the request of Mrs. Murray, no memorial service will be held. However, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Special Education Department at Maxwell Elementary, and will be appreciated.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
