AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral service for Mrs. Faye P. Huff Abrams, 52, of Augusta, was held on Monday, June 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Springfield Baptist Church in Thomson, with Pastor F.D. Favors officiating and Rev. Garnie Shorter serving as eulogist. Interment was held in the Langston Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors are a son, Lorenza Abrams III, of Augusta; a daughter, Alexis Abrams, of Augusta; one step-son, Lorenza Abrams II, Greenville, Kent,; five brothers, Bobby (Jacinta) Martin, Covington, Steve Huff, Norman Martin and Rickey Martin, all of Thomson, Carlton Martin, Lincolnton; step-mother, Shirley Huff, Decatur, four sisters, Betty (Butch) Blount and Lisa Martin, all of Thomson, Monica Huff and Tammy Huff both of Decatur; three aunts, Myrtis Hampton, who raised her as a daughter, Shirley (Lloyd) Shank, and Fannie (John) Norman, all of Thomson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
