DEARING, Ga. - The funeral service for Ms. Shawnda M. Hunt, 36, of Dearing, was held on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Poplar Head Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. David Lowe serving as eulogist. Interment was held in the church cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her parents, Eugene and Helen McNair, Dearing; a sister, Pamachia (and Jeffrey) Crowder, Thomson; two special devoted nieces, Ja'Shayla Crowder and Ja-Mayia Lamb, both of Thomson; a special devoted nephew, Ja-Quan Crowder, Thomson; 12 aunts; eight uncles; two great-aunts; one great uncle; two special devoted aunts, Mirriam Hunt, Harlem, and Rose Bell McBride, Delray Beach, Fla.; two special devoted cousins, J.C. McBride, Kansas City, MO and Keilyn Johnson, Dearing; special devoted loved ones, close as a brother, Gerald (and Juanita) Brown; a very special friend and classmate, Toshia Meyers; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of all arrangements.
