ATLANTA, Ga. - Ms. Peggy Ann Perdue Burns, 54, entered into rest Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Emory Hospital. A memorial service was held on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 1 p.m., from the Popular Head Baptist Church with Pastor David Lowe officiating.
Survivors include her children, Andre Perdue of Augusta, Tanita Perdue of Warrenton, Deidre Brown and Laura Burns, both of Thomson, and Shanta Burns of Apopka, Fla.; two grandchildren, Devion and Montavis Williams; and a sister, Vivian Wesley of Augusta.
Mrs. Burns was born in McDuffie County to the late Willie and Inez Hart Perdue. She was a homemaker and had attended Popular Head Baptist Church.
Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
