NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. - Funeral service for Ms. Betty J. Demons, 68, of New York City, NY, was held on Friday, July 3, 2009, at 11 a.m., at Whiteoak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Few serving as eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Darnell T. Demons, Atlanta; a daughter, Lisa L. Demons, Richmond, Va.; a grandson, Kevin T. Cooper, Atlanta; two granddaughters, Shionie Williams, New York City, NY, and Rayniece Cooper, Atlanta; two great-grandsons; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Thelma Green and Shirley Jackson, both of Atlanta; four brothers, Kenneth Demons and Lloyd Demons, both of Atlanta, Floyd Demons, Jr. and Eddie Demons, both of Thomson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
