Jimmy and Stacie Mims of Thomson are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Quiana Brittany Hicks, to Rafeal Randale Parks, son of Caroline and Dale Parks of Winfield, Ga. The wedding is planned for November 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. at First Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Appling.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Phyllis and James Hicks of Thomson and Lauragene Dickason of Philadelphia, Pa. She is a 2007 graduate of Thomson High School.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Greenbrier High School and is presently in the U.S. Army.
