Mrs. Jacquelyn "Jackie" B. Adams

WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mrs. Jacquelyn "Jackie" B. Adams, 71, entered into rest on Friday, July 24, 2009, at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late James S. Banks and the late Mary Goldman Banks of Lincolnton. She was retired secretary of the Georgia State Patrol Post 417, a member of Washington First Baptist Church and Belle Williams Volunteer Sunday School Class.

The memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2009, at Washington First Baptist Church with Rev. Klay Aspinwall officiating.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were officers and staff of Georgia State Patrol Post 417.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon C. Adams; two daughters, Vicki Batrous and husband, Joe, of Thomson, and Kelli Hardin and husband, Steve, of Evans; five grandchildren, Hannah DeMore, Joseph Batrous, Cade Hardin, Rachel Hardin and Jacob Hardin.

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Banks.

Rees Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
