OHIO - Funeral service for Mr. Newton Paschal, 79, of Ohio, formerly of Thomson, was held on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the first Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, in Appling, with Rev. Roscoe Perry officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Catherine Paschal, four sons; Marcus Paschal (Helen), Wallace Thomas, Robert Thomas, David Vincent, four daughters; Edith Marie Parker, Princess Paschal, Newschell (Shelly) Paschal, Sharon Ashton, 22 grandchildren, one great grandchild, two God-daughters; Valondra Jackson, Monique James; his former wife; Phyllis Paschal; and a host of relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
