Breakfast remains free for all students, and $1.75 for adults.
Although lunch prices have increased, the reduced price remains 40 cents, according to Community Nutrition Director Amy Culberson.
Regular lunch prices are as follows:
Pre-k through seventh grade $1.75
Junior high and high school $2.00
Applications to receive free or reduced lunches will be distributed during Open House at each school.
"A lot of kids aren't eating, and that's unfortunate because they could qualify for a free or reduced lunch, but they don't fill out the application," Mrs. Culberson said.
Ice cream prices also have increased at some schools. Mrs. Culberson said those prices are set by the principal and vary according to the school.
