AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Richard H. Feltner, 82, beloved husband of Mrs. Gloria Feltner, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009.
A memorial service was held Saturday, August 1, 2009, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Feltner was a native of Bedford, Ind., but had lived in Augusta for several years. He was retired from the Merchant Marine. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Thomson.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Gloria Feltner, Augusta; his daughter, Mrs. Sherry Maxwell, Thomson; two sons: Mr. Richard Feltner and Mr. Bill Feltner, both of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Mr. George Feltner, Ocala, Fla.; his grandson, Michael Maxwell, Grovetown; and two great-grandsons, Zachary Arrowood and Nicholas Arrowood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
