Mr. Henry Grady Pounds
Culpepper Lumber

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Henry Grady Pounds, 92, of Thomson, entered into rest August 13, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Reba Brown Pounds and the late Lucille Moats Pounds.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Elton Lawson officiating.

Mr. Pounds was a native of McDuffie County. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was retired as a salesperson from Culpepper Lumber Company. Mr. Pounds was also a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Reba Brown Pounds of Thomson; step-daughters: Beth Perdue of Thomson, Joan Neal of Thomson, and Pam Partridge, Grovetown ; stepson, Kenny Baggett of Augusta ; sister, Charlotte McManus, Fla; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Riverview Methodist Church 1244 Fury's Ferry Rd. Evans, Ga. 30809.

Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
