Miss Nettie Pearl Scott

LOUISVILLE, Ga. - Miss Nettie Pearl Scott, of Louisville, entered into rest Sunday, August 9, 2009, at her residence.

Funeral services were held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2009, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville.

Memories will be cherished by her son, Alex Scott (Betty Mae) of Louisville; grandchild, Shikara L. Scott and great-grandchildren, Tasmine A. Walden and Ka'Darius D. Scott, all of Thomson; sister, Cleophia J. Shaw of Hephzibah, Ga.; sister-in-law, Julia Mae Scott of Louisville; stepgrandsons, Bruce Heggs (Sharon), Derrick Battle (Malinda) and Marlow Battle of Davisboro, Ga. and Chad Battle of Savannah, Ga.; step-granddaughter, T'keyah Batts of Atlanta, Ga.; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Honorary pallbearers were Jerome Shaw, Christopher Tennyson, Pace Shaw, Kenneth Shaw, Damean Tennyson, Stevie Shaw and Dexter Tennyson. Active pallbearers were Carswell Swint, Charlie McCall, Larry Carswell, Jerry Lane, Samuel Kittles and LD Boyd.

Garrer Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.
