THOMSON, Ga. - The funeral service for Mr. Curtis Evans, Jr., 19, of Thomson, were held on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at 2 p.m., at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Apostle Darryl Smith, officiating. Interment was in the Westview Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Ida Mae Johnson, Thomson; father, Curtis Evans, Sr., Thomson; five sisters, Chisa Shields (Brian), Kequantae Johnson (Chris), Curlette Evans, LaTanya Hardens and Michelle Brown, all of Thomson; two brothers, Gregory (Joyce) Heard, Augusta, and Jerome (Ruby) Brown, Thomson; 12 aunts; five uncles; a devoted companion, Tasha Hart, Thomson; a god-daughter, Khiamari Montgomery, Thomson; two God-brothers, Zackery Neal and Calvin Crawford, both of Thomson; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
