BONEVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Sue Clark, beloved wife of Mr. Tommy Clark, died Saturday, August 29, 2009, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 1, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bryant Neal officiating. Burial was in Waldens Methodist Church Cemetery, in Avera, Ga.
Mrs. Clark was a native of McDuffie County. She was co- owner of Boneville Grocery and a Baptist. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Hope Walker, Thomson, and Brenda Dawn Sturkey, Hephzibah; a son, Billy Gene Sturkey, Thomson; her mother, Marie Evans, Mesena; two sisters, Ginny Edens, Florida, and Dianne Blassingill, West Virginia; a brother, Willie Evans, Mesena; six grandchildren, Glen Walker, Easter Hutson, Harley Walker, Billy Audiss, Casey Frazier and Joseph Sturkey; and a host of friends.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
