AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Malinda Thomas Lott, 94, entered into rest on August 22, 2009, at her residence.
Mrs. Lott lived the majority of her life in Macon, Ga. She spent the last 10 years in Augusta.
Graveside services were held at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, in Mayfield, Ga., with the Rev. Robert Felton officiating.
Mrs. Lott was preceded in death by her husband, James Lott. Survivors include: a son, Richard Lott, and a daughter, Beautyne (Roosevelt) Wiggins, both of Augusta; a brother-in-law, Joe (Pauline) Lott, of Warrenton, Ga., and a sister-in-law, Willie Mae (Isaiah) Merchinson, of Fayetteville, Ga.; grandchildren Felicia Wiggins, of Augusta, Nita Wiggins, of Dallas, Texas, and Ronald (Tujuana) Wiggins, of Augusta; a great granddaughter, Jasmine Felton, of Augusta; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mattie (Joseph) Clemmons, of Macon, and Rebecca Felton, of Augusta
