THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. Albert R. McCord known by his friends as "Jake or JT", 64, of Thomson was held on Saturday, September 5, 2009n at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Lincolnton with Pastor Rev. Robert Crawford, eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include three brothers, Willie McCord, Thomson, Larry McCord, Florida and William McCord, Sparta; six sisters, Julia Hamilton, Augusta, Fannie Baker, Thomson, Mattie Scott, Harlem, Evelyn Thomson and Ethel Hudson, both of Thomson, and Shirley McCord, Atlanta; two sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts and one uncle and a host of relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
