THOMSON, Ga. - Funeral service for Mr. Robert Lee "Bobby" Gunter, 67, of Thomson, was held on Sunday, September, 27, 2009, at 2 p.m., at First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Appling, with the Rev. Roscoe Perry, eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Verley Ann Gunter, Thomson; son, Patrick Deon Gunter, Thomson; mother, Sarah Mack, Thomson; three sisters, Betty (Freddie) Taylor, Sally Ivey, and Mildred Roberts, all of Thomson; two aunts, Sally Thomas, Harlem, and Nellie Kendrick, Columbus, OH; two sisters-in-law, Juanita (Vernon) Thomas, Jr., Thomson, and Lois (Shepherd) Archie, Jr., Augusta; three brothers-in-law, James (Linda) Taylor, Jr., Thomson, James (Sylvia) Jamison, and Christopher (Helen) Norris, all of Augusta; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
